The Delta Stewardship Council and U.S. Geological Survey are pleased to announce that the 13th Biennial Bay-Delta Science Conference will be held in person at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center in Sacramento, CA, from September 28-30, 2026.

The Delta Independent Science Board will meet on March 19, 2026, at 9:30 AM, in the multipurpose room at the Clarksburg Community Church (52910 Netherlands Ave, Clarksburg, CA 95612) to discuss its reviews and activities. This will include a discussion on the draft summary of highlights from its Emerging Climate Science Symposium and a debrief on the 2026 Interagency Ecological Program Workshop. As part of the Delta ISB’s Chair Report, Dr. Inge Werner will provide an update on the completion of the 2026 Delta Science Plan review. Additionally, Jonathan Huang will share reflections on his time providing staff support to the Delta ISB as part of his California Sea Grant State Fellowship experience.

The Delta Independent Science Board and the Delta Stewardship Council will hold the following public meetings this month. In accordance with the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act, meeting notices detailing agendas, public comment opportunities, logistics, and more will be posted on our events web page 10 days prior. Revised notices will be issued if changes arise.
