Event flyer Registration  Agenda

The 2019 Adaptive Management Forum will consist of talks, panels, and breakout sessions to provide an opportunity for discussions around ecosystem restoration and adaptive management support in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta. Registration is free and open to the public. Participants are welcome to attend one or both days.

Each day will begin with a moderated panel and audience discussion, followed by case studies that highlight lessons learned. Afternoon breakout sessions on both days will provide for more in-depth training and discussion opportunities on topics relevant to project proponents. Breakout sessions include such topics as writing adaptive management plans, developing monitoring plans with data management in mind, and considering uncertainties. The same three breakout sessions will be offered on both days so that participants have an opportunity to attend the two sessions they feel are most relevant to their work.

Registration closes February 1, 2019.

Coequal goals

The Delta Stewardship Council was created in legislation to achieve the state mandated coequal goals for the Delta. "'Coequal goals' means the two goals of providing a more reliable water supply for California and protecting, restoring, and enhancing the Delta ecosystem. The coequal goals shall be achieved in a manner that protects and enhances the unique cultural, recreational, natural resource, and agricultural values of the Delta as an evolving place." (CA Water Code §85054)
